Private room at Fianna Hills with a sitting area for family and visitors

Putting a loved one in a nursing home is a very difficult thing to do. I was faced with this decision after watching my wife slowly slip away with Alzheimer’s. The disease has been called the long goodbye, that is really what it is. When the time came and I could no longer take care of her, I went to four different nursing homes to see which one would be the best. When I went to Fianna Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center it was different. I was struck by how clean it was and there were no odors. Everyone was so friendly, from the administrator to all the office staff, nurses, the certified nursing assistants and all who worked there. My wife is kept clean, she has a nice room with a bathroom and shower. They serve three good meals a day plus snacks. If you ever are faced with the decision about putting a loved one in a nursing home, it would for pay you to come and check out this modern facility, I think you will be pleased with what you see.

I came to Fianna Hills for Rehabilitation therapy. The staff here at Fianna Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is amazing. From the very first day, the staff made every effort to make me feel welcome and loved. I love my C.N.A’s and nurses; they’re absolutely wonderful. The care here exceeds anything that I could have ever expected and the physical and occupational therapy team is wonderful. Their goal is to ensure that I am successful with my transition back to home. The facility is clean, clean, clean with a bright and cheerful environment. The food is home cooked, served to me on real plates with real silverware using real tablecloths with real cloth napkins. The food is excellent. The facility even feeds my husband when he comes to visit and he loves it! I cannot say enough good about Fianna Hills Nursing & Rehab. They have treated me like family, and have become a second family to me. I have been in an environment that has nurtured me, cared for me and encouraged me.
